Established in 1980, MaintStar has been around a long time, with a major focus on municipalities.  The upcoming MaintStar 15 is a complete rewrite, which leverages all of today's top technology.  While MaintStar 14 has very good ESRI GIS integration, with the ability to synchronize GIS with CMMS, version 15 offers a GIS-Centric solution (no more synchronization!).


All MaintStar versions support a multi-asset work order.


MaintStar 15 has a really nice database design, which makes doing your own reporting a lot easier.


MaintStar has really fantastic support.  It integrates seamlessly with ESRI and other GIS data sources.  


GIS is very strong, with an included dot net GIS Map application - with support for unlimited concurrent users.


PM (preventive maintenance) support is excellent as well.


Printouts in MaintStar 15 are done using Jasper Reports.


MaintStar 14 and 15 are both fully web-based.
